Hey all, I’m working on subject-verb agreement with my students. I’ve tried a few exercisesbut looking to make teaching this concept less boring for my students.... Any specific methods / activities / worksheets you’ve found effective?
in my class a few years back we did a subject-verb agreement scavenger hunt... I printed out sentences with errors, cut them into strips, and hid them around the room. The students had to find them, read them, and correct the mistakes. The team that was able to correct 4 sentences won (the other teams judged to see if each time was correct), so they were actually looking for the mistakes and thinking about the correct way to fix them.
