Correct the Punctuation

Read the first sentence aloud exactly as written, with no pause where the missing mark should be, then ask what sounds wrong. That one demonstration usually unlocks the rest. Let students work the other four independently, then trade papers to check each other's corrected sentences before you review as a class.
