Ice Pop Coloring Pages
Written by Adi Ackerman, Head Teacher
"Ice Pop Coloring Pages" is written for Kindergarten (Ages 5-6). Children a grade either side can use it too: younger ones with an adult reading it aloud, older ones as a quick refresher.

7 pages in this set
Six summer coloring pages: a happy ice pop, watermelon pops, a beach day, a penguin and an ice pop cart. Part of our summer coloring collection.
How do I use this resource?
Set these out for the last weeks of school, summer camp or an indoor recess on a hot day. Crayons or markers both work well on the thick lines. Ask children to tell you the flavor of their ice pop and write it next to the caption for early writing practice. Finished pages make a cheerful summer border. At home, they are a quiet activity while waiting for a real ice pop.

What does this resource teach?
⌄
Six summer coloring pages with bold, simple line art for PreK to grade 2. Each page has one large picture with a short caption: a happy ice pop, three treats with stars, smiling watermelon pops, a boy at the beach, a penguin holding an ice pop and an ice pop cart under an umbrella. Thick outlines and wide open spaces make the pictures easy for small hands to color.

Can I use this summer coloring resource for homeschool or classroom?
⌄
Yes, both. We made it for Kindergarten coloring pages, and the page works the same whether it lands on a kitchen table or a center rotation. At home, most families go through it together and talk the answers out loud, and that talking is where most of the learning happens with summer coloring. In class it runs well as independent work while you pull a small group. Print one copy or thirty, whichever the day needs.
How many Kindergarten summer coloring resources are there?
⌄
1 printable resource, all free to preview. Downloads are included with a ClassWeekly free trial, and every page prints on standard 8.5 x 11 paper.
What age are summer coloring resources for?
⌄
These are written for Kindergarten students, roughly ages 5-6. Many teachers also use them a grade up for review or a grade down as an extension, so use the preview to judge the fit for a particular child.
