When is Christmas 2026?

Christmas Day is December 25, which falls on a Friday in 2026. Most schools close for winter break a few days before, so classes do Christmas activities in the first three weeks of December.

What Christmas activities work for preschool and kindergarten?

Counting mats and clip cards, gingerbread count and match, dot marker crafts, cutting skills pages, a pencil control booklet, a Christmas busy book, emergent readers, and dramatic play sets for a gingerbread bakery, Santa's workshop and a Christmas tree farm. Each page lists its grade range.

What Christmas activities are there for older students?

3rd to 5th graders can solve the Escape the Gingerbread Bakery escape room, run the dissolving candy canes and sleigh-building STEAM labs, perform The Elves' Big Mix-Up reader's theater, read a differentiated 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, and research Christmas around the world in a flipbook project.

Are there Christmas countdown calendars and letters to Santa?

Yes. There are four countdown calendars (Santa and snowman calendar crafts and two coloring calendars), a letter to Santa template, a Dear Santa list letter, a letter from Santa, and elf arrival and goodbye letters.
