What students will practice

  • Gives Kindergarten students seasonal counting, vocabulary, and fine-motor activities themed around Christmas and Easter.
  • Builds early counting and matching skills alongside coloring and cutting practice that strengthens pencil control.
  • Works as low-pressure seasonal filler for the days around a holiday break, not core skill instruction.

FAQ

How do I use the Christmas Train Craft?

⌄

Print on card stock and let students build in pairs. Line up the finished trains along a window ledge or shelf as a class display.

What is the Christmas Train Craft?

⌄

Four pages: supplies and five steps, a train engine net with a chimney to roll and a cab to fold, a page with two train car nets, and a page of wheels to color and cut out. Four wheels go on the engine and four on each car.

Can I use the Christmas Train Craft at home and in the classroom?

⌄

Yes. We made it for Kindergarten to 3rd Grade holiday activities, and it works the same at home or at school. Families print it for one child and keep it where they will use it every day. Teachers print a copy per student or one for the whole room, whichever the day needs.

How many Kindergarten to 3rd Grade Christmas resources are there?

⌄

30 printable resources, all free to preview. Downloads are included with a ClassWeekly free trial, and every page prints on standard 8.5 x 11 paper.

What age are Christmas resources for?

⌄

These are written for Kindergarten to 3rd Grade students, roughly ages 5-9. Many teachers also use them a grade up for review or a grade down as an extension, so use the preview to judge the fit for a particular child.

Can I use these Christmas resources for homeschool?

⌄

Yes. Nothing here assumes a classroom of 25, so they work the same one-to-one at the kitchen table as they do in a Kindergarten to 3rd Grade classroom, a learning center, or a tutoring session.
