Homeschool planning has a different problem from classroom planning: you are teaching one or two children, often across several grades at once, and nobody is handing you a curriculum map.
Plan by skill, not by day
A classroom runs on a schedule because thirty children need one. At home you can stay on regrouping until it lands and move on the moment it does. Use the plans as a sequence, not a calendar.
Teaching more than one age at once
Run the same topic at two levels rather than two topics at once. The cross-grade topic pages exist for exactly this: the same skill, with the grade-appropriate practice for each child.
The check matters more, not less
Without a class to compare against, it is easy to miss a gap for months. The check-for-understanding step in each plan is the part not to skip.
