3rd Grade Analogies Worksheets
Ages 8-9 · 1 sub-topic · Free previews · Print-ready PDFs
These analogies worksheets for 3rd grade teach children to find how two words are linked and use the same link to finish a second pair, like saw is to cut as broom is to sweep (CCSS L.3.5). Each page takes one kind of link: tool and job, animal and home like bee and hive, animal and baby like cow and calf, opposites, same meaning words, worker and workplace like chef and kitchen, and things and their colors. A picture page lets children solve analogies by circling a picture, one page asks them to name the kind of analogy, and a mixed check in ends the set. There are 10 original sheets, each with an answer key.
