Frequently Asked Questions

Letter tracing teaches a child where each letter starts and which way each stroke goes, long before they write letters on their own. Most preschoolers learn capital letters first, because they are made of straight lines and simple curves, and many begin with the letters in their own name. The 60 pages here follow that order. On the trace the letter with arrows pages, numbered arrows show the strokes of one big uppercase letter, A to Z, and the child then traces it four more times. The trace and find pages add a search: trace one letter, then circle every copy of it in rows of mixed letters. Six letter writing check-ins show which letters a child can already write without a model. 32 of the pages come with an answer key.
