¡Veo, veo! Spanish Halloween I Spy
Written by Adi Ackerman, Head Teacher
"¡Veo, veo! Spanish Halloween I Spy" is written for Kindergarten to 2nd Grade (Ages 5-8). Children a grade either side can use it too: younger ones with an adult reading it aloud, older ones as a quick refresher.

¡Veo, veo! A Spanish Halloween I Spy for K to 2nd grade: find and count six kinds of pictures, then write how many next to each Spanish word. Part of our spanish counting holiday activities collection.
How do I use this resource?
Play the Veo, veo game out loud first: Veo, veo una calabaza. Then let students count each kind and cross pictures off as they go so nothing is counted twice. Use the number words from uno to seis to read the answers back in Spanish.
What students will practice
- Gives Kindergarten students seasonal counting, vocabulary, and fine-motor activities themed around Christmas and Easter.
- Builds early counting and matching skills alongside coloring and cutting practice that strengthens pencil control.
- Works as low-pressure seasonal filler for the days around a holiday break, not core skill instruction.

What does this resource teach?
⌄
A one-page Spanish I Spy. A field of Halloween pictures (bats, cats, pumpkins, owls, ghosts and a spider) is scattered across the page, from one to six of each. A table at the bottom pairs each picture with its Spanish name and a ¿Cuántos? or ¿Cuántas? box to write the count.
Can I use this spanish counting resource for homeschool or classroom?
⌄
Yes, both. We made it for Kindergarten to 2nd Grade holiday activities, and the page works the same whether it lands on a kitchen table or a center rotation. At home, most families go through it together and talk the answers out loud, and that talking is where most of the learning happens with spanish counting. In class it runs well as independent work while you pull a small group. Print one copy or thirty, whichever the day needs.
How many Kindergarten to 2nd Grade spanish counting resources are there?
⌄
1 printable resource, all free to preview. Downloads are included with a ClassWeekly free trial, and every page prints on standard 8.5 x 11 paper.
What age are spanish counting resources for?
⌄
These are written for Kindergarten to 2nd Grade students, roughly ages 5-8. Many teachers also use them a grade up for review or a grade down as an extension, so use the preview to judge the fit for a particular child.
