What students will practice

  • Builds fine motor control and grip strength as children color inside bold outlines.

  • Invites talk about the picture: naming what is in it, counting, and telling a short story about it.

FAQ

How do I use the Christmas Alphabet Coloring Book?

⌄

Do one or two letters a day in December, then staple the pages into a book to take home. Say the first sound of each word together as children trace.

What is the Christmas Alphabet Coloring Book?

⌄

Twenty-eight pages: a My Christmas ABC Book cover with a name line, 26 letter pages (such as "B is for bell," "N is for nutcracker" and "X is for xylophone") with a picture to color and a word to trace, and a last page to draw a favorite Christmas thing and copy its word.

Can I use the Christmas Alphabet Coloring Book at home and in the classroom?

⌄

Yes. We made it for Preschool to Kindergarten coloring pages, and it works the same at home or at school. Families print it for one child and keep it where they will use it every day. Teachers print a copy per student or one for the whole room, whichever the day needs.

What kinds of coloring pages are there?

⌄

Animals, seasons and holidays, community helpers, space and nature, a full alphabet set from A to Z, a numbers 1 to 10 set, color by code pages, and themed pages that go with our weekly themes.

Are these coloring pages good for kindergarten?

⌄

Yes. The outlines are thick and the spaces are big, so they suit crayons and young hands. Many pages also print the name of each picture, so children can read the words as they color.

How do color by code pages work?

⌄

Each space holds a sight word, a picture, a number word or a math fact. Children read or solve it, find the matching color in the key, and color the space to reveal a picture. Every color by code page has an answer key.

Do I need a color printer?

⌄

No. The coloring pages are black and white line art, so they print well on any home or school printer.
