Written by Adi Ackerman, Head Teacher
"End of Year Class Awards Set" is written for Kindergarten to 5th Grade (Ages 5-11). Children a grade either side can use it too: younger ones with an adult reading it aloud, older ones as a quick refresher.

9 pages in this set
End of year class awards for K to 5th grade: 8 certificates, from Kindest Friend and Super Reader to Math Whiz and Ray of Sunshine. Cover plus 8 pages. Part of our end of year awards collection.
How do I use this resource?
Match an award to each student before the last week, and print popular awards more than once so every child gets one. Read the reason aloud as you hand each award out, so the class hears what the child did well. The set also works for a homeschool family with several children.

What is included in End of Year Class Awards Set?
⌄
9 pages: a cover and 8 printable pages. Kindest Friend: for always being kind, caring and ready to share a smile. Super Reader: for loving books and reading every chance you get. Math Whiz: for solving problems with great thinking and care. Creative Thinker: for bright ideas and a wonderful imagination. Great Listener: for listening carefully to teachers and friends. Ray of Sunshine: for bringing joy and sunshine to our class every day.
Can I use the End of Year Class Awards Set at home and in the classroom?
⌄
Yes. We made it for Kindergarten to 5th Grade certificates and awards, and it works the same at home or at school. Families print it for one child and keep it where they will use it every day. Teachers print a copy per student or one for the whole room, whichever the day needs.
What certificates and awards are included?
⌄
Thirty designs in five groups: end of year awards (including a class awards set of 8, Moving Up and Have a Great Summer), Student of the Week (a certificate, a rainbow award, Student of the Month, Star Student, a fill-in poster and brag tags), subject awards for reading, math, writing and science, behavior and kindness awards, and birthday and milestone certificates such as the 100th day and graduation.
Which grades are these certificates for?
⌄
They span Pre-K to 5th grade. Most designs work for every grade, a few are for Kindergarten to 5th or Kindergarten to 2nd, and each resource page names its own grade span. The graduation certificates are made for one grade each.
How do I fill in a certificate?
⌄
Each certificate has a long line for the child's name, a printed reason (or a short line where the reason varies, like the number of books read), and Signed and Date lines. Write the name by hand, add any detail, then sign and date it.
Will the certificates print well on a home printer?
⌄
Yes. They are mostly white with colored line borders and small pictures, with no large dark areas, so they print cleanly on a home or school printer and still read well in black and white. Card stock makes them sturdier for display.
Do the brag tags and the poster need any prep?
⌄
The brag tags print 10 to a page with dashed cut lines and a hole-punch circle on each tag: cut, punch and thread them on a ribbon or clip. The Student of the Week poster just needs to go home for the child to fill in and decorate.
