Math by quarter: place value and long division, decimal operations, adding and multiplying fractions, then volume and the coordinate plane. Reading and writing by quarter: theme, summarizing, figurative language and text evidence, with narrative writing, essays and a research report. Science and social studies by quarter: matter and mixtures, body systems, ecosystems and Earth's systems, colonies, the Constitution and US history.
