How do I use this resource?

Pick the level that fits each child, or move the whole class from Level 1 to Level 3 across a week. A checklist at the top of each page names the marks to look for, so kids can tick them off as they edit. Try reading a sentence aloud with your voice dropping at each period and rising at each question. At home, a parent can check answers with the key and circle any missed marks for a quick redo.

Can I use this punctuation practice resource for homeschool or classroom?

⌄

Yes, both. We made it for 3rd Grade english & reading, and the page works the same whether it lands on a kitchen table or a center rotation. At home, most families go through it together and talk the answers out loud, and that talking is where most of the learning happens with punctuation practice. In class it runs well as independent work while you pull a small group. Print one copy or thirty, whichever the day needs.

How many 3rd Grade punctuation practice resources are there?

⌄

1 printable resource, all free to preview. Downloads are included with a ClassWeekly free trial, and every page prints on standard 8.5 x 11 paper.

What age are punctuation practice resources for?

⌄

These are written for 3rd Grade students, roughly ages 8-9. Many teachers also use them a grade up for review or a grade down as an extension, so use the preview to judge the fit for a particular child.
