1st Grade Proper fractions Worksheets

First graders learn to partition circles and rectangles into two equal shares (halves) and four equal shares (fourths or quarters), and describe the shares using the words halves, fourths, and quarters (CCSS 1.G.A.3). They should understand that equal shares of identical wholes need not have the same shape.
