Homeschool Weekly Planner

How do I use this resource?
Fill it in on Friday or Sunday for the week ahead, writing a lesson or page number in each box. Check off boxes as you go and carry anything unfinished to next week. Keep the finished planners in a binder as a record of the year.
What students will practice
- Helps homeschool families plan the year, the month, the week and the day in one consistent set of pages.
- Keeps records many families need: attendance, hours, grades, reading logs and portfolio work samples.
- Lets older children track their own assignments and reading, building independence.

FAQ
How do I use the Homeschool Weekly Planner?
⌄
Fill it in on Friday or Sunday for the week ahead, writing a lesson or page number in each box. Check off boxes as you go and carry anything unfinished to next week. Keep the finished planners in a binder as a record of the year.
What is the Homeschool Weekly Planner?
⌄
A one-page homeschool weekly planner with Week of and Student lines, Monday to Friday rows and subject columns for Math, Reading, Writing, Science, Social Studies and Other, plus This week's goals and Notes boxes.
Can I use the Homeschool Weekly Planner at home and in the classroom?
⌄
Yes. We made it for Preschool to 5th Grade homeschool planning, and it works the same at home or at school. Families print it for one child and keep it where they will use it every day. Teachers print a copy per student or one for the whole room, whichever the day needs.
What planning pages are included?
⌄
Thirty resources in four groups: planners (weekly, monthly, yearly, daily, multi-child, lesson, field trip and goals), trackers (attendance, reading log, grades, hours, books read, assignments, a report card and a progress report), portfolio pages (a cover, subject dividers, work sample records, a year in review and more), and a pacing guide for each grade from kindergarten to 5th.
Which grades do the planners work for?
⌄
The planners, trackers and portfolio pages work for any grade from Pre-K to 5th, and teachers can use them too. The pacing guides are written for one grade each, from kindergarten to 5th.
Are the monthly planners dated?
⌄
No. Each month page, August to July, has a blank grid with a small box in each cell to write the date, so the planner works for any year.
Can these pages help with record keeping?
⌄
Yes. The attendance tracker counts 180 school days, the hours log records instruction hours by subject, and the grade tracker, report card, progress report and work sample records build a portfolio. Rules differ by state, so check what your state asks families to keep.
How are the pacing guides organized?
⌄
Each guide splits the year into four 9-week quarters, with a year at a glance and then math, reading and writing, and science and social studies quarter by quarter, built from the skills ClassWeekly has resources for at that grade.
