A fact family is a set of facts that use the same three numbers. The numbers 1, 2 and 3 give 1 + 2 = 3, 2 + 1 = 3, 3 - 1 = 2 and 3 - 2 = 1. The sheets pair a number triangle with dots so children can see why the facts belong together.
