Frequently Asked Questions

Three is often the first number children can spot at a glance, without counting one by one. The Pre-K pages build on that. Kids trace the number 3 with ducks, fish, eagles, pineapples and clouds, then count the group. Three "Find every 3" pages send them searching a busy page for the numeral, and a word tracing page spells out "three." Ten frame pages show 3 as a short row of filled boxes. For kindergarten, there is a count and color page, a count and print page with a smiling bunny, a tracing page, and a number recognition page built around a cow. Watch the curves: many children write 3 facing the wrong way at first.
