Frequently Asked Questions

We go to the park, to school, to Grandma's house. The word "to" points the way, and it appears in nearly every early reader. It also breaks the usual rules: the o sounds like "oo," not like the o in "go." Pre-K children trace "to," write it on a line and circle it in a row, then search a word grid for every "to" and count them. Kindergartners read the word, trace it and read a picture sentence aloud. In 1st grade, kids read a sentence, trace "to" three times and print it three times. At home, name a place and let your child point to the word.
