What does this worksheet teach?
⌄
Each page uses one short first name. Children trace it twice, then write it once by themselves and once more on the last line. The names give practice with capitals and with letters in a set order.
Can I use this write a name worksheet for homeschool or classroom?
⌄
Yes, both. We made it for Preschool handwriting, and the page works the same whether it lands on a kitchen table or a center rotation. At home, most families go through it together and talk the answers out loud, and that talking is where most of the learning happens with write a name. In class it runs well as independent work while you pull a small group. Print one copy or thirty, whichever the day needs.
How many Preschool write a name worksheets are there?

These are written for preschool children, roughly ages 3-5. Start with the first few pages, use the free preview to judge the fit, and come back to harder ones as your child gets steadier.
Does my child need to write letters already?
⌄
No. Pages start with tracing over dashed guides and build up to writing on their own, one small step at a time.
