FAQ

How do I use this label the picture worksheet?

⌄

Read the word bank together first. Ask the child to cross off each word once it is used, which narrows the choices as they go.

What does this worksheet teach?

⌄

Pictures run down the page, each with a writing line beside it, and a word bank lists the words to use. Children say each name and copy the right word onto the line. Labeling ties things they see to the words that name them. An answer key is included.

Can I use this label the picture worksheet for homeschool or classroom?

⌄

Yes, both. We made it for Preschool labeling, and the page works the same whether it lands on a kitchen table or a center rotation. At home, most families go through it together and talk the answers out loud, and that talking is where most of the learning happens with label the picture. In class it runs well as independent work while you pull a small group. Print one copy or thirty, whichever the day needs.

How many Preschool label the picture worksheets are there?

⌄

12 printable worksheets, all free to preview. Downloads are included with a ClassWeekly free trial, and every page prints on standard 8.5 x 11 paper.

What age are label the picture worksheets for?

⌄

These are written for preschool children, roughly ages 3-5. Start with the first few pages, use the free preview to judge the fit, and come back to harder ones as your child gets steadier.

Does my child need to write letters already?

⌄

No. Pages start with tracing over dashed guides and build up to writing on their own, one small step at a time.
