What does this worksheet teach?
⌄
Each page offers a personal topic, like my family, my favorite toy or my best day. Children draw in the box, then write or trace a sentence about it on the lines. Every child's answer will be different, which is the point.
Can I use this draw and write worksheet for homeschool or classroom?
⌄
Yes, both. We made it for Preschool sentence writing, and the page works the same whether it lands on a kitchen table or a center rotation. At home, most families go through it together and talk the answers out loud, and that talking is where most of the learning happens with draw and write. In class it runs well as independent work while you pull a small group. Print one copy or thirty, whichever the day needs.
How many Preschool draw and write worksheets are there?
⌄
12 printable worksheets, all free to preview. Downloads are included with a ClassWeekly free trial, and every page prints on standard 8.5 x 11 paper.
What age are draw and write worksheets for?
⌄
These are written for preschool children, roughly ages 3-5. Start with the first few pages, use the free preview to judge the fit, and come back to harder ones as your child gets steadier.
Does my child need to write letters already?
⌄
No. Pages start with tracing over dashed guides and build up to writing on their own, one small step at a time.
