Frequently Asked Questions

One quick tip before you start: hold a hand in front of your mouth and say hat together. That little puff of breath is the /h/ sound. The preschool pages cover tracing uppercase H and lowercase h, circling every H and h in a letter box, saying hat, horse, house and hand on the beginning sounds page, and an "H is for hat" picture sheet. Kindergarteners trace H and find it on a letter recognition page with a heart. There's an H word search for 1st grade and a cursive page for older siblings. The practice row mixes H with nearby letters. Several pages include answer keys.
