Frequently Asked Questions

Uppercase R begins like a P and adds a slanted leg, while lowercase r is a short line with a small curve at the top. Preschoolers trace and write both, circle every R and r in a letter box, and name a rabbit, a ring, rain and a rug on the beginning sounds page. The "R is for rabbit" sheet asks them to name pictures, circle the letter and trace Rr. Kindergarten has an R tracing page and a rain letter recognition page, and 1st grade an R word search. The practice row has tracing runs and check-ins with R. For older kids, a cursive R page is a good later step. Answer keys are included for several pages.
