How to write J and j

Uppercase J:
Start at the top line and pull a straight line down, curving to the left at the bottom like a fishhook. Many styles finish with a short line across the top.
Lowercase j:
Start at the midline and pull a straight line down past the baseline, then curve a small hook to the left. Lift the pencil and add a dot above.
