Bee to the Flower Maze
Written by Adi Ackerman, Head Teacher
"Bee to the Flower Maze" is written for Preschool (Ages 3-5). Children who are new to this can work with a grown-up beside them, and the instructions are meant to be read aloud. Older children who need more practice with mazes can use it as a short review.

Free printable preschool fine motor maze worksheet: draw a line along the open path to fly the bumblebee to a purple flower. Answer key included. Part of our mazes fine motor skills collection.
How do I use this worksheet?
Talk about the goal first, like where the puppy wants to go. Let your child find the way with a finger, then draw it with a crayon. If they cross a wall, that is fine; they can back up and try again.
What students will practice
- Students will draw a line through a simple maze from the green dot to the goal without crossing the walls.
- Students will look ahead to find the path and try again after a dead end.
- Students will steer a pencil around corners and curves with growing control.

What does this worksheet teach?
⌄
Six beginner mazes with a friendly goal on each page: a puppy finding its bone, a bee flying to a flower, a mouse reaching the cheese, a car driving to the garage, a squirrel finding an acorn and a chick getting back to the hen. Every maze starts at a green dot and has an answer key.
Can I use this mazes worksheet for homeschool or classroom?
⌄
Yes, both. We made it for Preschool fine motor skills, and the page works the same whether it lands on a kitchen table or a center rotation. At home, most families go through it together and talk the answers out loud, and that talking is where most of the learning happens with mazes. In class it runs well as independent work while you pull a small group. Print one copy or thirty, whichever the day needs.
How many Preschool mazes worksheets are there?
⌄
6 printable worksheets, all free to preview. Downloads are included with a ClassWeekly free trial, and every page prints on standard 8.5 x 11 paper.
What age are mazes worksheets for?
⌄
These are written for preschool children, roughly ages 3-5. Start with the first few pages, use the free preview to judge the fit, and come back to harder ones as your child gets steadier.
Does my child need to write letters already?
⌄
No. Pages start with tracing over dashed guides and build up to writing on their own, one small step at a time.
