Place value race board game for 2nd grade: say the number shown in hundreds, tens and ones on your space to move ahead. Answer strip included. Part of our math board games collection.
How do I use this resource?
Cut out the answer strip and the game pieces. Players roll and move, then say the number on their space, for example 327. A partner checks the answer strip, and a wrong answer means going back one space.
What students will practice
- Turns sight word, phonics and math fact practice into a game children want to play again.
- Builds speaking and listening skills as players read aloud and check each other's answers.
- Works for partners, small groups, centers or the whole class with little setup.
