Sight Word Bookmarks: Primer
Written by Adi Ackerman, Head Teacher
"Sight Word Bookmarks: Primer" is written for Kindergarten to 1st Grade (Ages 5-7). Children a grade either side can use it too: younger ones with an adult reading it aloud, older ones as a quick refresher.

Sight word bookmarks, primer, for K-1: five bookmarks with the primer sight words, from all and am to went and who, with check boxes. Part of our bookmarks collection.
How do I use this resource?
Use it after the pre-primer bookmarks. Children check each word once they can read it quickly, and you can see at a glance which words still need practice.
What students will practice
- Gives children a bookmark of their own, which makes reading time feel special.
- Keeps a reading strategy, question or word list in the book where children need it.
- Adds a coloring and cutting task that builds fine motor skills.
