FAQ
How do I use the Three Kings Day Writing Paper?
⌄
Use page 1 for a picture and a few sentences about the story of the three kings, and page 2 for longer writing such as a thank-you note or a retelling.
What is the Three Kings Day Writing Paper?
⌄
Two pages. Page 1 has a starry band at the top, a name line, a large drawing box and writing lines over a desert border of camels and a palm tree. Page 2 is a full lined page with a side margin of a crown, a star, a gift, a camel and a rosca.
Can I use the Three Kings Day Writing Paper at home and in the classroom?
⌄
Yes. We made it for Kindergarten to 5th Grade writing paper, and it works the same at home or at school. Families print it for one child and keep it where they will use it every day. Teachers print a copy per student or one for the whole room, whichever the day needs.
What size lines should I use for kindergarten handwriting paper?
⌄
Beginning writers do best with tall, widely spaced lines, around 10mm, because larger spaces give little hands room to form letters. As control improves, move to 8mm lines. Many kindergarten pages also include a dotted midline so children can see where lowercase letters sit, which helps with consistent letter height.
Is this printable writing paper free?
⌄
Yes. You can preview every writing paper page for free, and downloads are included with a ClassWeekly free trial. Print as many copies as your classroom or home needs on standard 8.5x11 paper.
What can I use lined writing paper for in the classroom?
⌄
Lined paper is one of the most flexible tools you have. Use it for handwriting practice, spelling lists, journal entries, story drafts, letters, and morning work. Versions with a picture box at the top pair drawing with writing, which is perfect for early writers who plan their ideas with a picture first.
How do I help my child write neatly at home?
⌄
Start with paper that has the right line height for their stage, model one line, and let them copy underneath. Keep practice short and positive, a few minutes a day beats a long session. Saving finished pages over a few months is a simple way for both of you to see how much their handwriting has grown.
