What does this worksheet teach?
⌄
"Finish the body" (draw what is missing) is a drawing page with 2 framed boxes, each with a small picture at the top. One box shows a child with no arms and the other a child with no legs, and the child draws the missing parts. It practices naming body parts and what they do. There is no answer key, since every drawing is right.
Can I use this body parts worksheet for homeschool or classroom?
⌄
Yes, both. We made it for Preschool my body and senses, and the page works the same whether it lands on a kitchen table or a center rotation. At home, most families go through it together and talk the answers out loud, and that talking is where most of the learning happens with body parts. In class it runs well as independent work while you pull a small group. Print one copy or thirty, whichever the day needs.
How many Preschool body parts worksheets are there?
⌄
14 printable worksheets, all free to preview. Downloads are included with a ClassWeekly free trial, and every page prints on standard 8.5 x 11 paper.
What age are body parts worksheets for?
⌄
These are written for preschool children, roughly ages 3-5. Start with the first few pages, use the free preview to judge the fit, and come back to harder ones as your child gets steadier.
Does my child need to know how to write for these body parts worksheets?
⌄
No. Most pages ask children to circle, trace, match, color, or cut and paste, and a few ask for a single number. A grown-up can read the instructions aloud, so children do not need to read yet.
