Written by Adi Ackerman, Head Teacher

FAQ
How do I use the Design Your Own 2027 Ball?
⌄
Read the fact together, then let children design the ball with their own colors and patterns. Hang the finished balls in a row for a New Year display.
What is the Design Your Own 2027 Ball?
⌄
One page with a name line, a Did you know? box and a large ball outline with 2027. The fact explains that since 1907 a lighted ball has been lowered down a pole in Times Square, New York City, on December 31, starting at 11:59 at night and reaching the bottom at midnight.
Can I use the Design Your Own 2027 Ball at home and in the classroom?
⌄
Yes. We made it for Kindergarten to 5th Grade coloring pages, and it works the same at home or at school. Families print it for one child and keep it where they will use it every day. Teachers print a copy per student or one for the whole room, whichever the day needs.
What kinds of coloring pages are there?
⌄
Animals, seasons and holidays, community helpers, space and nature, a full alphabet set from A to Z, a numbers 1 to 10 set, color by code pages, and themed pages that go with our weekly themes.
Are these coloring pages good for kindergarten?
⌄
Yes. The outlines are thick and the spaces are big, so they suit crayons and young hands. Many pages also print the name of each picture, so children can read the words as they color.
How do color by code pages work?
⌄
Each space holds a sight word, a picture, a number word or a math fact. Children read or solve it, find the matching color in the key, and color the space to reveal a picture. Every color by code page has an answer key.
Do I need a color printer?
⌄
No. The coloring pages are black and white line art, so they print well on any home or school printer.
