FAQ
How do I use the Kansas Flag Color Guide?
⌄
Read the guide aloud with younger students before they color, and talk about why the seal has 34 stars.
What is the Kansas Flag Color Guide?
⌄
A one-page flag outline with a color guide (dark blue background, gold KANSAS and seal edge, yellow petals, brown center, blue and gold twisted bar, green hills). A short text explains the 34 stars, the motto Ad astra per aspera, and why KANSAS was added in 1961.
Can I use the Kansas Flag Color Guide at home and in the classroom?
⌄
Yes. We made it for 1st Grade to 3rd Grade coloring pages, and it works the same at home or at school. Families print it for one child and keep it where they will use it every day. Teachers print a copy per student or one for the whole room, whichever the day needs.
What kinds of coloring pages are there?
⌄
Animals, seasons and holidays, community helpers, space and nature, a full alphabet set from A to Z, a numbers 1 to 10 set, color by code pages, and themed pages that go with our weekly themes.
Are these coloring pages good for kindergarten?
⌄
Yes. The outlines are thick and the spaces are big, so they suit crayons and young hands. Many pages also print the name of each picture, so children can read the words as they color.
How do color by code pages work?
⌄
Each space holds a sight word, a picture, a number word or a math fact. Children read or solve it, find the matching color in the key, and color the space to reveal a picture. Every color by code page has an answer key.
Do I need a color printer?
⌄
No. The coloring pages are black and white line art, so they print well on any home or school printer.
