⌄

What does this worksheet teach?
⌄
"Find the stars" (night sky) is one big night sky over a house scene with a picture key at the top, and the child finds and circles five things in it. The child finds five stars in the night sky over a house, using the star picture in the key. It practices telling day from night and what happens in each. An answer key is included.
Can I use this day and night worksheet for homeschool or classroom?
⌄
Yes, both. We made it for Preschool Earth and sky, and the page works the same whether it lands on a kitchen table or a center rotation. At home, most families go through it together and talk the answers out loud, and that talking is where most of the learning happens with day and night. In class it runs well as independent work while you pull a small group. Print one copy or thirty, whichever the day needs.
How many Preschool day and night worksheets are there?
⌄
14 printable worksheets, all free to preview. Downloads are included with a ClassWeekly free trial, and every page prints on standard 8.5 x 11 paper.
What age are day and night worksheets for?
⌄
These are written for preschool children, roughly ages 3-5. Start with the first few pages, use the free preview to judge the fit, and come back to harder ones as your child gets steadier.
Does my child need to know how to write for these day and night worksheets?
⌄
No. Most pages ask children to circle, trace, match, color, or cut and paste, and a few ask for a single number. A grown-up can read the instructions aloud, so children do not need to read yet.
