⌄
Use the pages at morning meeting through a winter week. An adult reads each part aloud and children look out the window before they fill it in.
What is the My Winter Weather Journal?
⌄
Four pages. The Weather Today: circle the day, color sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy or windy, color a thermometer and draw. Weather This Week: Monday to Friday drawings and temperatures. Weather Tally: color a box a day and find the most common weather. I Notice the Weather: draw and finish a sentence from a word bank.
Can I use the My Winter Weather Journal at home and in the classroom?
⌄
Yes. We made it for Preschool to 1st Grade holiday activities, and it works the same at home or at school. Families print it for one child and keep it where they will use it every day. Teachers print a copy per student or one for the whole room, whichever the day needs.
How many Preschool to 1st Grade snow and winter resources are there?
⌄
3 printable resources, all free to preview. There are 41 Snow and Winter resources in all, from Preschool to 5th Grade, gathered on our Snow and Winter activities page. Downloads are included with a ClassWeekly free trial, and every page prints on standard 8.5 x 11 paper.
What age are snow and winter resources for?
⌄
These are written for Preschool to 1st Grade students, roughly ages 4-7. Many teachers also use them a grade up for review or a grade down as an extension, so use the preview to judge the fit for a particular child.
Can I use these snow and winter resources for homeschool?
⌄
Yes. Nothing here assumes a classroom of 25, so they work the same one-to-one at the kitchen table as they do in a Preschool to 1st Grade classroom, a learning center, or a tutoring session.
