Words for the five senses

Do it with eyes closed. Genuinely: hand your little one something to hold, or something to smell, and ask which sense is working before the page comes out at all. Use them where they belong. Point them out in the real setting, ask your child to name what they see, and use the word yourself a few times in the same day. A word met once on paper fades; a word used three times in context stays.
