Make a Face Craft

Have children color the pieces before cutting; it is much harder after. Pre-cut the larger hair shapes for younger students and let them handle the small pieces. Put out mirrors so children can look for their own eye and hair style. Changing the mouth piece turns this into a feelings lesson: make a happy face, then a surprised one. The finished faces make a strong first week display with each name written underneath.
