High Frequency Words Practice

Assign one set per week and send the page home for nightly practice of two or three words. Before writing, read the ten words together and use each in a quick sentence. Turn the sets into a word wall by highlighting each word on the page as it is mastered. For children who already read the words, fold the page so only the writing lines show and dictate the words aloud.
