What preschool worksheets are available on ClassWeekly?

Preschool worksheets on ClassWeekly are free printable math, reading, writing, science, and social studies pages for children ages 3-5. They cover counting to 20, numbers, shapes, and patterns, plus the alphabet, letter sounds, rhyming, sight words, pre-writing lines, letter tracing, opposites, position words, living things, and all about me. Most pages ask children to circle, trace, match, color, or cut and paste, so no reading is needed.

Preschool is about noticing and doing, not writing. At this age a child is learning that numbers name how many, that letters make sounds, and that marks on a page can carry meaning. ClassWeekly's Preschool library is built around that: big pictures, big numerals and letters, one idea per page, and instructions a grown-up can read aloud.

Math has 723 worksheets in 14 topics. Numbers and Counting are the largest: tracing 1 to 10, counting up to 20, ten frames, matching groups to numbers, and color by number. Shapes, Patterns, Sorting, Graphing, Measurement, Time, Money and Reasoning give children other ways to think with numbers, and a short set of Addition and Subtraction pages introduces joining and taking away with pictures.

Reading covers the Alphabet, Letter Recognition, Letter Sounds, Rhyming, Syllables, Sight Words, Word Families, Word Building, Story Order, Poems and early Reading Comprehension. Writing and Grammar covers Pre-Writing Lines and Shapes (tracing, mazes, dot to dot and cutting), Letter Tracing, Name Writing, Letter Recognition and Beginning Sounds, and Drawing and Early Writing, plus picture-based Opposites, One and Many, He, She, and They, Positional Words and Build a Simple Sentence.

Science has 391 worksheets in 10 topics: living things, farm and ocean animals, my body and senses, life cycles, push, pull and float, weather and seasons, day and night, healthy foods, recycling and building. Social Studies starts close to home with All About Me, Community Helpers, first Maps, Wants and Needs, and Symbols and Holidays.

Short sessions work best. Five to ten minutes is plenty. Start with the first pages in a topic, like tracing the number 1 or the letter A, and move on when your child is confident. Skip a page that is too hard and come back in a few weeks.

Preschool pages are written for ages 3-5 and are not tied to a specific K-12 standard. If your child is turning five and heading to school, the Kindergarten hub picks up where these pages leave off.
