Weather Cutting Skills

Start with the straight lines page if your child is new to scissors, since corners are easier to control than curves. Show how to hold the paper with the helper hand and turn it as you cut. Cut shapes can be glued onto blue paper to make a weather scene. At home, talk about the day's weather and cut out the matching shape first.
