5th Grade Check and Revise Predictions Worksheets

Ages 10-11 · Free previews · Print-ready PDFs

Written by Adi Ackerman, Head Teacher

These check and revise predictions worksheets for 5th grade teach children to test a prediction against what happens and change it when new clues appear (CCSS RL.5.1). Marcus predicts his birthday pet after each of three story parts, Nadia's kite festival story comes with four predictions a reader made to mark right, partly right or wrong, a robotics club's missing kit story stops after Part 1 for a prediction that Part 2 confirms or changes, and an understudy story stops just before a surprise twist. Children name the clue that confirmed or changed each prediction. Four original sheets, each with an answer key.

Frequently Asked Questions
