A shape pattern repeats a group of shapes, called the pattern unit, in the same order again and again. These 10 shape patterns worksheets for 1st grade move past AB patterns to ABC, AABB and ABBC patterns, where children draw the next 2 shapes, plus pages that ring the pattern unit, fill 2 missing shapes, fix the one shape that breaks a pattern and continue patterns that change both color and shape.
