Written by Adi Ackerman, Head Teacher
A 3D shape, or solid shape, takes up space and can be held, like a ball or a box. These 11 kindergarten 3D shapes worksheets have children color every cube or sphere in rows of mixed solids, circle cones and cylinders that point up, down or sideways, match a sphere, cube, cone and cylinder to an orange, a gift box, a party hat and a drum, and count the cubes, cylinders, cones and sphere in a toy castle. Other pages color objects like a gumball and a glue stick by their solid shape, count the cubes in 8 towers and circle the solid that is different (CCSS K.G.A.2, K.CC.B.5). Each sheet has an answer key, and children answer with colors, circles, lines and numerals, never words.
