Letters, Numbers, and Shapes Tracing

Work one page per sitting so small hands do not tire. Slip the pages into sheet protectors and use a dry-erase marker for repeat practice through the week. Each page carries a short line for the grown-up, such as counting the dots together before tracing a number. Watch for children who start letters at the bottom and model the top-down stroke again. At home, a crayon is easier to grip than a pencil for the shape page.
