All About Ramadan Activity Booklet

An adult reads each page aloud while the child draws, colors, traces or circles. Children copy the right word from the three picture boxes on the facts page, then check the four answer pages with an adult.

Twelve pages after the cover: a booklet cover with a name line, the 12 months of the Islamic calendar, a sky to draw a new crescent moon in, a What Is Ramadan? page to read and color, and dawn and sunset skies to draw. Next come suhoor and iftar plates to draw on, a box for a kind act and a lantern to color. It ends with 5 words to trace and match to pictures, a 12-picture find, 3 fact sentences to finish from a word bank, and a Ramadan Ends with Eid al-Fitr card to color.

Yes. We made it for Kindergarten to 2nd Grade holiday activities, and it works the same at home or at school. Families print it for one child and keep it where they will use it every day. Teachers print a copy per student or one for the whole room, whichever the day needs.

These are written for Kindergarten to 2nd Grade students, roughly ages 5-8. Many teachers also use them a grade up for review or a grade down as an extension, so use the preview to judge the fit for a particular child.
