How do I use this resource?
Print on card stock and cut out the 30 cards. For 2 to 6 players: each player gets one card face down, the rest go in a face-up pile, and players race to point to the picture their card shares with the top card. The player who points first takes that card, and the most cards wins when the pile is gone.

Six pages after the cover: a how-to page with six steps and an example pair of cards, then 5 pages of round cards, six per page. Every card has six small pictures, including zodiac animals and New Year items, and any two cards share exactly one picture.
Can I use the Lunar New Year Picture Match Card Game at home and in the classroom?
⌄
Yes. We made it for Kindergarten to 2nd Grade holiday activities, and it works the same at home or at school. Families print it for one child and keep it where they will use it every day. Teachers print a copy per student or one for the whole room, whichever the day needs.
How many Kindergarten to 2nd Grade Lunar New Year resources are there?
⌄
17 printable resources, all free to preview. There are 77 Lunar New Year resources in all, from Preschool to 5th Grade, gathered on our Lunar New Year activities page. Downloads are included with a ClassWeekly free trial, and every page prints on standard 8.5 x 11 paper.
What age are Lunar New Year resources for?
⌄
These are written for Kindergarten to 2nd Grade students, roughly ages 5-8. Many teachers also use them a grade up for review or a grade down as an extension, so use the preview to judge the fit for a particular child.
Can I use these Lunar New Year resources for homeschool?
⌄
Yes. Nothing here assumes a classroom of 25, so they work the same one-to-one at the kitchen table as they do in a Kindergarten to 2nd Grade classroom, a learning center, or a tutoring session.
