FAQ

How do I use the Mardi Gras Bingo?

⌄

Cut out the calling cards and give each of the 2 or more players a board and some counters. Call one card at a time, cover that picture, and a player with 3 in a row shouts Bingo.

What is the Mardi Gras Bingo?

⌄

Seven pages after the cover: six boards and one page of calling cards. Each board has eight labeled pictures, such as king cake, doubloon, tambourine and fleur-de-lis, around a mask that counts for everyone. The last page has 13 calling cards and how to play directions.

Can I use the Mardi Gras Bingo at home and in the classroom?

⌄

Yes. We made it for Preschool to 2nd Grade holiday activities, and it works the same at home or at school. Families print it for one child and keep it where they will use it every day. Teachers print a copy per student or one for the whole room, whichever the day needs.

How many Preschool to 2nd Grade Mardi Gras resources are there?

⌄

2 printable resources, all free to preview. There are 18 Mardi Gras resources in all, from Preschool to 5th Grade, gathered on our Mardi Gras activities page. Downloads are included with a ClassWeekly free trial, and every page prints on standard 8.5 x 11 paper.

What age are Mardi Gras resources for?

⌄

These are written for Preschool to 2nd Grade students, roughly ages 4-8. Many teachers also use them a grade up for review or a grade down as an extension, so use the preview to judge the fit for a particular child.

Can I use these Mardi Gras resources for homeschool?

⌄

Yes. Nothing here assumes a classroom of 25, so they work the same one-to-one at the kitchen table as they do in a Preschool to 2nd Grade classroom, a learning center, or a tutoring session.
