⌄

A grown-up reads the steps. Children color all 3 strips, cut them out and glue the side strips behind the ends of the front band, then a grown-up staples the ends to fit and trims the band if needed.

What is the Valentine Heart Headband?

⌄

Two pages, each with a front band and 2 side strips with glue tabs. Page 1 has hearts and the words Happy Valentine's Day!, and page 2 has empty hearts to draw in. A How to join box on each page says the band is about 21 inches long.

Can I use the Valentine Heart Headband at home and in the classroom?

⌄

Yes. We made it for Preschool to 1st Grade holiday activities, and it works the same at home or at school. Families print it for one child and keep it where they will use it every day. Teachers print a copy per student or one for the whole room, whichever the day needs.

How many Preschool to 1st Grade Valentine's Day resources are there?

⌄

5 printable resources, all free to preview. There are 49 Valentine's Day resources in all, from Preschool to 5th Grade, gathered on our Valentine's Day activities page. Downloads are included with a ClassWeekly free trial, and every page prints on standard 8.5 x 11 paper.

What age are Valentine's Day resources for?

⌄

These are written for Preschool to 1st Grade students, roughly ages 4-7. Many teachers also use them a grade up for review or a grade down as an extension, so use the preview to judge the fit for a particular child.

Can I use these Valentine's Day resources for homeschool?

⌄

Yes. Nothing here assumes a classroom of 25, so they work the same one-to-one at the kitchen table as they do in a Preschool to 1st Grade classroom, a learning center, or a tutoring session.
