Start with page 1, since those six consonant sounds are easier for little ones to hear. Read each picture name slowly, stretching the first sound, before your child draws the line. In class, do one page per day in a small group with a pencil or dry-erase marker over a sheet protector. At home, ask your child to find one more thing in the room that starts with each letter after finishing a page.
