A property of multiplication is a rule that is true for every number, such as switching the factors without changing the product. These properties of multiplication worksheets for 3rd grade hold 10 sheets, each with an answer key. Children turn arrays and switch factors for the commutative property, group three factors two ways for the associative property, reorder three factors to multiply a pair that makes 10 first, break apart a factor with the distributive property, split arrays and use a known fact to find a harder one. The last sheets name the property each equation shows, fill in a missing number using a property and review all five properties, including multiplying by 0 and 1, over 2 pages.
