FAQ

How do I use the Weekly Planner and To-Do List Pages?

⌄

Print a set each week. Fill in the planner and to-do list on Sunday or Monday, then use the time tracker for one day to compare the plan with what really happened.

What are the Weekly Planner and To-Do List Pages?

⌄

A cover and three planner pages. My Weekly Planner has a box for each day from Monday to Sunday and space for three goals for the week. My To-Do List sorts tasks into Must do, Should do and Could do. My Time Tracker lists each hour from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. with columns for My Plan and What I Did, and ends with two questions: What took more time than I planned? What will I change tomorrow?

Can I use the Weekly Planner and To-Do List Pages at home and in the classroom?

⌄

Yes. We made it for 4th Grade homeschool planning, and it works the same at home or at school. Families print it for one child and keep it where they will use it every day. Teachers print a copy per student or one for the whole room, whichever the day needs.

What is in the 4th grade pacing guide?

⌄

A cover and four pages: a year at a glance with the big skills for each quarter, then math, reading and writing, and science and social studies, quarter by quarter, with an everyday practice idea for each math quarter.

How is the year divided?

⌄

Into four 9-week quarters, about 36 weeks in all. Each quarter names two or three big skills per subject, so you can see the whole year on one page.

Do I have to follow it exactly?

⌄

No. Treat it as a map, not a schedule. If a skill takes longer, let the next quarter slide, and skip ahead when your child is ready.

Where are the planners and trackers?

⌄

Weekly and monthly planners, attendance and hours logs, report cards and portfolio pages for every grade are on the Kindergarten homeschool planning page.
