6th Grade Biomes and Biodiversity Worksheets

Ages 11-12 · Free previews · Print-ready PDFs

Written by Adi Ackerman, Head Teacher

A biome is a large region with a similar climate and similar plants and animals, and biodiversity is the variety of living things in an area. These two 6th grade worksheets, each with an answer key, look at life at both scales. World Biomes uses a table of six major biomes and a simplified latitude map, and Biodiversity and Healthy Ecosystems has students graph sample species counts for four study plots, from a forest to a lawn.
